Our Commitment

Timeless designs. We believe the first step in being a sustainable business is in the design. We aim to create timeless, quality designs that can be worn for many years to come without dating at the end of each season. 

Smaller collections & production runs. We produce carefully curated capsule collections in limited quantities to avoid contributing to waste through large collections.

Supporting local. We produce all our garments in Australia and are committed to continuously supporting the Australian textile industry. This also avoids the added emissions that come from international shipments. 

Consider all elements in creating a garment. Where possible, we select recycled or compostable options. For example, our woven labels are made from off-cut polyester fabric & recycled thread that would have otherwise gone to landfill and our swing tags are embossed on recycled stock fabrics. To achieve beautiful timeless pieces, we rely on quality made garments and high quality fabric. Shop Louee primarily uses linen - a natural, biodegradable fabric spun from certified European Flax. Both our linen fabric and woven labels are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
